Oh my goodness...I read the ladies comments about how fast the week flies around between WOYWW's and this week I feel like I just posted #86 last night!! WOYWW you say, whats that? Check out Julia Dunnit's blog, Stamping Ground and see what I am talking about!
Here is my desk this morning! I was working on getting a couple tags ready to take over to the store to give to Leslie for the class and it is a total mess. I don't do beading but my daughter has helped me with learning how to fix simple drops for my cards and this is part of my equipment to do that with.
Here are the tags I was working on last week when I took my picture. I have made three but...I just don't like the third and so I put it in file 13 and I will make another tomorrow to take.
We just had a major winter storm roll through dropping about 5 inches of snow on top of ice. I doubt if I will be getting out today at all. I will just spend time traveling in virtual space looking at everyone blogs and beautiful weather down south.
Stunning tags - Tags seem to be everywhere I look at the moment I really must catch this tag bug. Thanks for sharing your desk with us and inspiring me to make a tag or two

Fab desk! Thanks for visiting my blog, an erosion bundle is a project that happens at the beginning of the year, still time to join if you want. You make a bundle of goodies, paper, tags, metal, material, anything else you fancy, wrap it up in a old shirt in my case and leave it outside for 4 months, bring it in and make art from it. Its really fun http://erosionbundles.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI like your tags; and the bead drop adds a nice touch. I know what you mean about Weds coming around so quickly. See you soon.

I think your tags turned out awesome. I love the vintage valentine look they have. We had about 5 inches of snow here in Kansas as well, right on top of freezing rain, and now bitter cold. Is spring here yet? TFS Shari #103

Hi - thanks for your comment. Most of the pots on my desk are different types of inks (I am a calligrapher) - there is also a pot of olive picks (bad habbit!)
ReplyDeleteHi there. Love the Tags - they are gorgeous. I too have a "File 13" but I tend to call it the "Sod It Box"!!!! LOL!!!

Hi! Great tags! Also my (elder) daughter makes jewellery.
ReplyDeleteWe also had a storm here a week ago, but nothing like yours - I have seen pics on news. Now it´s snowing quite wet...
That "file 13" was new to me. We call it "mappi o" and that o is with dots. It´s the last letter in finnish alphabets. And "mappi" is same than "file". Finnish lessons ;)

The tags look wonderful and your desk looks fab too
ReplyDeleteLove your tags I have never got into trying beads on things - may have to try that - hope you stay nice and warm and have plenty of craft time ~ Nicky no.12
