As you can see not much work is going on on my desk today. It seems to have become the depository for all things you can't think of where else to put them. When the urge hits I will sweep them into a box and shove it off to the side till they come back to the desk again!
A couple Easter tags I made....
Which came first the egg or the chocolate rabbit?
I know they look alike and there is a reason for that! I was teaching a class last week and someone saw the egg stamp and 'wondered' what a tag made like that would look like soooooo....I made one so she could see it! I end up doing a lot of that here lately...what if's is what I call them...What if I change this up or that up...I wonder what would happen if... get the idea?
I think spring is trying to sneak its way in to Oklahoma but old man winter keeps getting in and pushing back. Last weekend I made this planter for my herb garden and two nights later had to cover it over to keep it from freezing...Won't be long and winter will truly be gone!!
If you are wondering what happened to the canvas that was on my desk last WOYWW I participated in check it out here!
Before I go I thought I would share a picture of me, my daughter and Brigita another WOYWW desker! Brigita was in Oklahoma City taking a class and we got together for supper and had a great time visiting and sharing the evening.
Have a great week!
I'm a little later visiting today cos I've been cleaning, sorting and tidying [again] ready to put our house on with another estate agent....got to get this house sold!!
ReplyDeleteI really love your herb planter :-)

ReplyDeleteYour tags are lovely. I love the colours. I was late too - I come after you. I never seem to get organised enough on Wednesdays to do it any earlier, but like you I didn't want to miss out this week. Have a great week. Ela x #83
ReplyDeleteHi Vickie - I just love the rolls of ribbon above your desk, so much so I didn't notice what you've shoved there :) The two tags are super - great colours. Hi Vickie, love the tags! Its nice to meet another desker, I agree. The planter is a great idea, I saw that done on Pinterest somewhere, and thought it was worth trying too. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz # 34 xx
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, we have finally had some lovely warm Spring weather here, I sat up the garden and even put my Fitflops on. But then today, the cloud has covered over and there's a nip in the air. Guess the old saying 'Don't cast it out, till May's out' is right, or so my nan used to say! Fab WOYWW, yes I'm a tad late but hey ho & hope you have a great weekend. Take care Zo xx 53
ReplyDeleteCute tags, Vickie. LOVE the hat there on your desk!!
ReplyDeleteHave a special Easter.

ReplyDeleteHi Vickie,
ReplyDeleteHow nice to get together with another WOYWWer! It looks like you had a nice dinner and visit.
The tags are great. I like the "what if" projects! Very cool.
Ugh, we've had a hard freeze twice here this week. My lilac has started blooming so I'm hoping that everything continues on its way to green and not shrivel up.
Happy belated WOYWW
peace, Kay (13)
Hi Vickie that's a novel idea with the planter. It will definately be chocolate first in my house on Sunday .... After over 6 weeks without. Love the tags

Thanks for sharing the photo of the three girls. Your weather and ours is all mixed up I guess. We have had sunshine again today but then it dulls over another day and I don't think it knows yet what to stay as.
