Now need an honest response even if it really doesn't matter at this
point in time cause I have already mailed the darn things off! These are some tags I created for a swap on Art 42 called Poison. Got that part covered but...Something just isn't calling out to me but I was on a time restraint and couldn't just throw them back and come back another day!
I used a clear glaze embossing powder over the moon but when I heat set it I came up with these black spots. (Hope everyone thinks they are bats in the distance!) The little bottles of stuff are actually glass bottles of nail decorations I found at the dollar tree. I don't know it might grow on me but I am just not feeling it!
Theres loads of stuff floating around in space!!! You don't always see the moon clearly. Can't think of an explanation for the embossing powder going like that but your moon looks very authentic like that. hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHi Vickie, your desk is like a fiesta!!! I think those poison ATCs look dine as it is but my favorite are the little bottles! Patsy from

I almost forgot...you asked me about the Grand Calibur. It is great for thin dies, but I use my Big Shot or Cuttlebug for the regular thick sizzix dies. I just love the way the embossing turns out with the Grand Calibur!
ReplyDeleteI like the black spots, it adds to the spooky feel of it. I can't fathom what they are though, why would they show up in clear powder? Very mysterious and... SPOOKY! I think they are fun ATCs but design-wise they don't flow smoothly to the eye so maybe that is what is off about them. Well, Halloween is all about the unexpected so it works!
