YAY! Today is Wednesday and it is time for WOYWW! If you want to join in or just check out what is going on visit the Queen of blog snooping Julia Dunnit at Stamping Ground to find out what it is all about!
My desk has kind of spread out this week into the kitchen! I am trying to get ready for a scrapbook class on Wednesday and have been putting the kits together tonight. We have a total of 10 people signed up tonight so thought I would make a couple extra so that any late sign ups would be covered.
I love my Cricut and Big Shot and do a lot of cutting for the classes myself instead of having the class do it during the class time because they only have limited time and I like them to leave feeling like they accomplished something. I showed a picture of the layout last week so if you would like to see it again go here. Anyway I have been busy cutting out the eggs, grass and lettering tonight and putting it in baggies.
I want to thank everyone for their kind words regarding my doctors visiting and my health issues. I went to two appointments last week and learned absolutely nothing more than I knew before I went in! I get so frustrated sometimes I could scream but...I will persevere. I have another appointment this week on Thursday! I don't have very high hopes.
Here to wish you well in the medical area..I understand the frustration. I took a peep about your blog..You are one busy lady. Lots of great stuff...all the TH accessories so fun
ReplyDeleteDon't have a Cricut, but nice to have stuff cut out ahead..My close friends were from Guymon and Enid. Hope you didn't have more storms or fires.
Thanks for all the fun visiting you. Happy WOYWW and Good Luck.
I wouldn't mind popping to your crop but there is a little bit of a logistical problem I am afraid.
ReplyDeleteWishing you luck in the medical area. I know what you mean about getting frustrated....
Good luck
ah...gotta get my cricut fired up and make some creations after seeing your bunny inspiration! I bet your class is a blast!
ReplyDeleteYes, this is how very often my desk looks like when I prepare the kits for my classes. It's a lot of work, but it is also fun. I love your yummy papers and flowers.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are all set for your workshop! I loved that Easter layout from last week, that will be a fun class!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you still have no answers medically. Very frustrating. (((hugs))) to you!
xoxo Karen
Looks like you will be having a great class!
ReplyDeleteHope your appointment is a success.
Thanks for sharing!
Your right, time is so short at crops, always to much to do and so little time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek and sharing. Have a wonderful WOYWW. Hugs, Marjo #154
Thanks for sharing your desk preps... I bet the class is fun and will be worthwhile with all you are doing to help. thanks for all your support to me and I hope things go well for you....
ReplyDeleteLove JoZarty x
Looks like it will be a fun class!
ReplyDeleteGood idea to make a few extra I bet you'll need them too! You are one busy lady, keep going don't give up! Enjoy my peek today!
ReplyDeleteHi Vickie. Such a great idea trying to ensure that people don't take up time in classes which could go towards producing something nice to take home. Hope the medical side perks up for you honey! Remember to hop over to my blog if you'd like to win some blog candy. I'm celebrating one whole year of blogging :) Di x
ReplyDeleteFab colours for the scrapbook pages. Hugs Pam
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to do all the cuttng out before to save the time and hassle. If I am doing a run of the save item, I set it all up as a file on my Silhouette, so I can repeat whenever I want. Good luck sorting those medical problems out.
ReplyDeleteTake over the house :) I say!! Very productive WOYWW this week. Thank you for dropping by my blog!!!
ReplyDeleteI really must use my Cricut more! the class stuff looks fab. Hope it goes well.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

Thos kits look fab! Thanks for ahring hugs Rebekah xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been busy. Hope your class goes well. It looks like you've been using your Cricut to great advantage. Thanks for stopping by my studio.
ReplyDeleteOh, that all looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteOH my...I don't have a Cricut yet but you make me want one....I've found that sometimes we need to be our own physician. I found the most relief of symptoms by going on a yeast free diet..not easy but it was worth it. Might be worth a try especially if you've been on alot of antibiotics.
ReplyDeleteHey Vickie - thanks for stopping by! Now was that scrapbook class Wednesday gone (23rd) or Wednesday next (30th)? If it was gone, hope it went well, if it's next, hope it goes well.... LOL
ReplyDeleteYour class sounds like fun! Wish I could take it. :-) About your frustration with doctors....I had the same problems. Took me two years to finally find out what was wrong with me! Thanks for stopping my my desk. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteThose kits are looking gorgeous. I wouldn't mind having a play with them myself if I lived nearer!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear the doctors are being their usual frustrating selves!!
Take care
Hugs Lisa #148
Your kits look like your going to have a ton of fun. Keep your spirits high and think positive. It is proven that the mind is an amazing healing tool.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you make an informed decision before you plunge on the die cutting machine. I'd hate to be responsible for you buying and then finding you didn't really need it. What about your Cricut cutting big pages out for books?
ReplyDeleteNow to your desk - looks busy and those flowers are fab. I remember your bright LO from last week - am sure everyone will have fun. Good luck with the medics - am struggling a bit myself so can empathise. Take care.
Certainly looks like your going to have a busy class and how nice of you to do the mundane cutting in order to get straight into the nitty gritty so to speak. Do hope you got some answers
ReplyDeleteto your questions on Thursday.
Living with Monkey is like being with a naughty child all day. I just never know what mischief he is going to get into next. Said he was off to the opticans for some glasses.
Really late this week doing the rounds.
Hugs from Mrs A & Monkey #54
Getting artwork ready for school pupils used to be intense so preparing for craft classes must be just as busy! Hoe it all goes well for everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteShort & sweet this week
Shirl #38 again!
Lots of spreading out loo, the kit looks really exciting and after reading your previous post the end results loks fab.
ReplyDeleteHmm that kit looks really interesting hope the class goes ok ~ Nicky
ReplyDeleteHow thoughtful of you to do so much preparation for them in advance! This looks like a lovely kit to work from ...
ReplyDeleteI'm late, so I guess the class went well - I'm with you, I prepare a lot of the cutting and blahdy blah for a class. I once went to a class where we had to cut 12 pages for a star book on shared guillotines. It took half the class time up and I left feeling that I paid to spend an evening doing something I could already do, and with a very unfinished book. Good lesson!
ReplyDeleteYou’re looking very organized there Vickie!
ReplyDeleteLove the finished LO and I’m sure your class will have fun…..shame the eggs aren’t chocolate though!
Happy Crafting!
Sue

ohooo sorry I thought I called in coz I went on about you having that fabulous cricut, I'd really love one, when I see them on he telly the presenter always gets it wrong and there's a quick cut away to look at something else and then its all ok when the camera comes back! Are they hard to work?? Bet your class was fab too!!
ReplyDelete(((Happy Very Late WOYWW Lyn)))
ah! That's what I forgot last time...to type in the code, the page disappears and I Thought that was it!
The whole medical thing frustrates the crap out of me, always has! I do the holistic route as much as possible and feel much better for it. I'm so late you're probably held the class by now so I hope it went well. Lots of stuff goes on beforehand that looks very time consuming. See you tomorrow no doubt!!

You are so good to kit for your students. Sometimes mine are lucky if I throw a piece of paper at them!
ReplyDeleteTake care.

Oh how organised are you doing the cutting for your class - lovely. I like your post above about the girls easter egg hanging too - beautiful work! Boys are harder to work with from my experience because they like three dimensional stuff but I've had a five year old art journaling which was fun! Sorry you're not getting answers on the health front - hope you find out more at your next appointment
ReplyDeleteHugs
wow, you've been busy, hope all goes well with your scrapbook class. thanks for you visit to my blog. the pineapple cake was a bit too sweet for me!
ReplyDeleteWow all very organised - love the eggs you made with the kids in the above posts
