Woke up this morning with the distinct feeling that I was forgetting something important!!! Hmmm...I wonder what that could be? Oh right! It is Wednesday and time for me to get my backside out of bed and get on the computer and write up my WOYWW post.
What is WOYWW? Follow the link and Julia will tell you the deets but the gist of it is...It is a group of snoopy peoples that like to get together once a week and hop around the world snooping through one another's desks and projects. Want to join in the fun? Only place I know where you don't go to jail for stalking and snooping in other peoples lives and desks!
My one of my desks in all its messed up glory...
This is kind of a tease photo cause I have covered up part of the project I am working on because it isn't done enough to share! Hang on I will share photos of the orange tree shortly!!! :-) I decided it was all September and kids are going back to classes that it must be time for me to start working on my fall and Halloween projects. I have even been spending time researching such on Pinterest!!! What an awesome time sink!!
Okay what is that orange thingey?

A box I started on last year then set aside to be finished at a later day and I forgot all about it. Currently it is a coaster box but I am trying to decide if I would like to turn the coasters into a small picture book of Halloween pictures from bygone years!

Up closer!

Closer still!

A better side view!
The box is just a chipboard box I bought covered with Graphic 45 SteamPunk Spells papers. I die cut the Harlequin edging, bats, and fence with Tim Holtz dies and Coordination distress cardstock. All the ephemera and metal bits came out of my stash. Tinsel is TH ideology.
These are the 4"x4" beer mats that are covered with various bits of paper. As I was digging through stuff to find stuff for the project in the works I found this key. I think it could work as a way of getting a book out of the box!
It is easy getting them out when they are coasters but a little tight in a solid chunk.
One last picture I wanted to share! My DH took me out to supper last week for beer, brats, and blues at the local German Biergarten, Royal Bavaria, an authentic beer garden owned by a couple from Germany! Who would have thunk it! In Oklahoma no less!
Isn't he handsome in that cowboy hat holding that stein of beer. No one would believe I married him for his brain and not his good looks. Interested in seeing some good photography? Chuck has a blog too...
his is a professional blog...but it is loaded with all sorts of awesome photography! Check it out!
Okay enough for me. I have to get off here and get dressed. I have an appointment I need to get to at 2:30 and it is getting late! Hope everyone has a great week and I will try and get by to visit you later in the week!
