This is my desk this week! Not much change. I went away for a weekend retreat with a group of scrap booking and crafty friends at a local lodge and this is what it looks like today after partially unloading the totes. The colorful book is a journal I worked in and there is an awesome card I made using a friends stamp!
What a mess...a lot of fun was had tho! |
An up close of the card. I really love this stamp and I am going to have to look around and find one I can call my own! Girly Steampunk. I used Graphic 45 papers for the card! |

Entrance to the lodge where we stayed Friday, Saturday and Sunday till middle of the afternoon! |
The lodge from the boat dock! |
a Redbud tree in bloom. One of the first this year! |

What a super looking place for your retreat, don't even know the tree but nice to see some blossom. Steampunk girl card is epic. Thanks for visiting me this week BJ#20
ReplyDeleteIt looks like so much fun! Your daughter is very pretty and a lovely artist...those paintings behind her are great!
ReplyDeleteOh Vickie - the meet looks fabulous - we are having one from our club in June - so looking forward to it. Guess what, you have just reminded me I have that shoe - bought it in January from my trip in America. Hope I can do it justice - yours is awesome.
ReplyDeleteAs for not knowing what I meant about being a mess in my room, look and see if you can find anywhere I can stamp. I don't have much surface to begin with as it is all taken up with storage boxes but at the moment (yes, it's still the same) but what I had (where the green mat is) is full of stuff now,
I know I will tidy it but then muck it up again! Such is crafting. I have way too much stuff.
Hugs, Neet 16 xx
Looks like it was a great retreat - so much fun to craft with friends. Love the card!

ReplyDeleteI've resigned myself to the fact that I shall ever be running late to get to others blogs due to my work but here I am. I sssooo love that steam punk girly shoe!! I think I shall have to hunt that one down too. Your desk is full of colour and your journal looks inviting and bright as well. What a gorgeous place for a retreat and it looks like you all had fun.
