What's on my desk today? Not much! I am working on a couple more pages for my art journal and just finished spraying the pages and will soon be in there stamping and having fun!
This is going to be short and sweet this week as I have poor internet and it could shut down at any minute again. Have a fun week!
FABULOUS colours you got going there, do show and tell next week what you did with them in your journal!

Those colours are stunning. Your journal will be so bright and vibrant. The watercolour grid is all about learning how the colours change with different glazes. Once I have finished I should have a good reference guide.

Man those colours are so rich, so intense, they make my mouth water. Just fantabbydozy! Almost seems a shame to cover them up - but I bet they look even more lush by the time you get done. Delish!

ReplyDeleteHi Vickie,
ReplyDeleteDang the bad internet connections. The canvas I'm working on might be for a class that I teach at The Perch Paperie (new store in town). I thought of a smaller canvas but the owner saw a huge canvas with birds so this is my take on it. I added the word as a touch of whimsy. Really, teaching a canvas class would probably be so similar to teaching a card or scrapbook page class. You'll be GREAT!
Thanks for visiting me already.
Happy WOYWW

Hi Vickie! Looks as if you have some serious color projects going on! WOWSER! Hope you net is up and running again!!! Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteThose are some seriously vibrant backgrounds you got there! Wondering what else you'll do to them...:) Have you guys gotten much snow down that way? Ours hasn't added up to much, thanks to the intermittent rain that melts it down. Did y'all have any of that thundersnow last night/early this morning? It was bizarre! Anyways, thanks for stopping by my blog already and leaving me such a sweet comment...the two sets from Kanban are pretty much the only clothing stamps I have for coloring and I was just so inspired by some completed projects I saw online that I had to have them. Did you see that someone on one of my posts offered to get them from UK for me? I asked her if I could connect you two but I don't think I've heard back from her, maybe you have already? Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are staying warm, too. :) Deeyll
ReplyDeleteSeveral folks would be happy to send then to us. I also got in touch with a couple stamp makers and they said they would be happy to send...too expensive for postage though...more then the stamps cost.
DeleteHi Vickie,
ReplyDeletecan't seem to get my 'Reply to Comments' to work, so thought I;d post here about painting the MDF - I've posted a step by step how to on my blog :-) Think your version of PVA is Elmer's Glue??
Debs x
debs that is good to know! I have been using watered down Elmer's instead of Modge Podge cause the Modge Podge gets so sticky in our humidity sometimes. Will try this.
DeleteCan't believe how zingy and bright those papers are Vickie, they really brighten up a dull, grey day. We got about 3" of snow this morning from that storm you had yesterday. Sounds like you have to share your knitting with you cats, lol!
ReplyDeleteHugs
