My desk today! Not much going on to look at. I have been gone almost two weeks and there has been absolutely nothing going on.
I received my angels from Jozarts swap in the mail when I came home. WOW talk about some awesome work! Both of the angels are gorgeous and I love them! I think I will hang them on the tree then after Christmas move them to the wall in my craft room.
Jozart sent me an angel she named Malayeka! Love the beautiful purple colors!
The second angel came from came from Neil and was named Celestia.
Aren't they gorgeous! I will be sending out my angels tomorrow to Jozart and the person I owe and angel! The cruise caused me to put the mailing on hold as life got in the way but I promise they will be there very soon!
Anyway that is all for me tonight and I will be up early tomorrow to do a hop around the blogs and get my fix before starting decorating my tree and getting the cards out! Hope everyone has a great week!
wow bet you had an amazing time

Well, your vacation sounds like fun! I'm jealous! lol And those angels you recieved are both gorgeous! waving the #92 from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteHi Vickie,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great time! I've only been to New Orleans once (NOT during Mardi Gras) and loved it, especially the cemeteries and the Voodoo Museum. And I do love a good cruise!
Welcome back,
Hugs,
Kay
Oh my the angels are absolutely gorgeous! Your holiday sounds delightful, New Orleans is on my list of places to go.. Hugs, Sandi 5
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a lovely holiday - I think there's nothing as relaxing as a cruise. No doubt you'll get back to crafting soon.
ReplyDeleteBernice #104
I am in love with your copic pen collection ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah for the vaca! And look at you up past midnight!:) We've never been on a cruise but it seems like it would be a blast...did you have to go to New Orleans to get the Bahama cruise? Or did you just want to go there so you went on one of the cruises leaving from there? I'm just so curious, eh? lol Well, now that you're home again I hope you get caught up on your projects and whatnot that you missed and I hope it's not too cold here now! Its been freezy up here my way, but no snow. :( I can take the cold so long as it comes with the pretty white stuff! Otherwise it's just boring! lol Take care and stay warm, perhaps with those Bahama inspired memories, yes? :) Deeyll #48
ReplyDeleteI love those angels - so beautiful!! You sound to have had a fun time - enjoy the festive fun. x Jo

ReplyDeleteHi Vikki ! Great to have you back - missed you ! So glad you had a brilliant holiday - what a lovely way to move into Christmas ! Your angels are just gorgeous - what a lovely present to come home to as well !
ReplyDeleteAli #109
I think I could give up checking desks for a couple of weeks in the Bahamas! (considering it is snowing & -32C here) What a lovely preChristmas jaunt & to come home to 2 beautiful angels was quite a bonus!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Renee #101
Lovely angels, it really was a lovely swap to be part of! So jealous of your cruise-and the weather! Chris#81
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and comment, Vickie - so glad you enjoyed your cruise. Don't overdo things now you are home! As for holiday plans at this end, we haven't really got any - Christmas is going to be extremely low key this year with Dad in the home and we're going out for Christmas lunch with Mum, and that's about it. To be honest, it's a relief not to be caught up in all the pre-Christmas frenzy for once.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at my away-from-desk activities this week, yes, I have been quite busy! There have been family commitments too. I'm now in the middle of another huge clear-out, and making room for loads of stuff we brought back from Mum's yesterday - I'm "rationalising" lol! I'm actually feeling very positive about the sorting of my stuff.
Your desk always looks awesome even if you haven't been doing much on it - I think it's those fabby rainbow markers in their rack that does it for me lol!! Your two angels are just gorgeous. I'd love to have been part of that swap but couldn't really cope with much more on my plate atm. Maybe it will inspire me to make some of my own angels one day!!
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #69
