OMG! I thought that #150 sounded like a gianormous number last week but
#151 is over the hump and sounds really BIG! this week. Welcome to
WOYWW #151brothers and sisters...Whats WOYWW? Oh my you are in for a
treat. Go to Stamping Ground and Julia will explain it all to you. Take a cup of coffee or tea though as you will need it for the journey!
I can't make Google Blogger work for me today as it wants all pictures to be topmost of the post and everything to be centered on the page. What a mess! Where or where did the old blogger go I didn't ask for this. SO far I am only seeing a very few pluses to this update but most of it is definitely negative so far! Does anyone know how to put words before a picture when starting a post? I am going to have to spend a day figuring out how to work this mess out!
I received a text from my favorite local scrap book store and they told me that they had something that I was really going to like and that I should come in and check it own so I did! Ahem! I know way too much money but...I get a deep pocket discount cause I teach classes using the dies and it is really hard to pass up the new Sir Tim products when they come on the market. I can't wait to try out the new match book (I also have the match box from Stampin'Up!) the cd envelope and the brown paper bag dies. Awesome goodness I guess!
Here is a sneak peak of my last Ten Seconds Studio Guest designer projects for the month of April. I really like how this turned out and think you will to! |
Okay I think I will quit while I am ahead and have patience to keep on going and look at a few blogs before I go to bed. I have big plans for tomorrow which means I can't be up to late tonight. Nothing special...I am going to go to farmers market, put together a storage cabinet on the back patio and if there is any time left I am going to go to a few thrift shops here in town.
Hope everyone has a great week!
I love going to thrift shops here, we don't have a lot, but coming home with a piece to alter is always such fun.
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any trouble with my post and my pictures came in the right places but finding my way about was/is another story. Took me ages to fathom out how to "edit" a post, then how to find comments to publish them (then I forgot the second time). Guess we will get used to it - in time ...... am I kidding myself or you?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, love your last DT piece for Ten Seconds - look forward to seeing it in its full regalia.
Thanks for sharing, commenting, putting your number and all the things that make life so much easier.
Hugs, Neet #3 xx
Have you been naughty again!! I dont seem to have a problem putting stuff where I want to on Blogger. I usually load the photos up first then go in and put the wording in after. I'd be the same if I got first pick at stuff at our craft store. Love your project, looks awesomely yummy
ReplyDeleteBridget #1
I find the only way is to actually put the picture in after the words. Ive had to delete pics, put the words in then insert pic again. Its not the easiest of things for editing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week with not to many frustations haha !

One I Made Earlier Today
Love all the goodies on your desk, especially the TH ones. And your Ten Seconds Studio project looks great. Love the small fairy and the metal flowers. Good luck with these blogger problems. I first writing my text and after that I put my pictures in it. But, in between, I check every step blogger makes, otherwise it's becoming a mess. Hope you have a crafty week and a happy WOYWW. xFranka #9
ReplyDeleteDo you use Google Chrome as your browser? I have no problems with the new blogger on it, (whereas at work i am on internet explorer and blogger doesn't like it) anyhow, love your photos today - gorgeous buys!!. hope you have a good time at the market.
ReplyDeleteOoo just look at all the Timmy goodness, Heaven indeed, and how nice that your local store temps you in that way lol
ReplyDeleteDon't mention new blogger to me, i'm clinging onto the old interface till it disappears lol

Blogger seems ok for me, am using Google Chrome, though I don't seem to have worked out the scheduling bit yet but never mind, am usually 'here'! Fab desk pic and new goodies too, how lovely to have a shop that sells such stuff, nowhere round here does, so I have to shop on-line mostly. Take care & enjoy WOYWW. Zo xx 77
ReplyDeleteI have enough trouble just making a normal post and put the pics in where I want them to go. Never game to edit afterwards. You have some great goodies on your desk. I love seeing all the great things that your can get.

ReplyDeleteI always love to visit your space. Such a great creative space. Good luck with blogger...Mine is still adding lines between paragraphs! It makes me crazy. Something all the time!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call a purchase! I'd have been the same, if it helps, and I don't 'do' the TH thing as well or as much as you! Particularly like the long dies...they work out at good value for me. Hope you have fun thrifting..I'm de-upholstering an old chair today....loooong overdue and not even a big job!
ReplyDeleteI just got to have the bird on a branch die. Love those amazing flowers. Lots of folk having trouble with Blogger. No idea what the common denominator is though. Happy woyww.
ReplyDeleteHugs Joanne xx
Always love a visit Vickie. You lucky thing, getting to use all those dies. I love them, but I don't own any as yet. My daughter lets me borrow hers though. Love those beautiful flowers and look forward to finding out more. Have a lovely day. Hugs from Scotland. Rita 67.xx
ReplyDeleteWOW...WOW...WOW...Fabulous stash Vickie, stunning flowers too just beutiful... Vicky Blogger done this to me at the top you have a choice to go back to the old way if you wish!!! I did as I had a wee panic attack as I did'nt know what I was doing... ReplyDeleteI'd quite like to come to your farmer's market - I may see you there!!
Hugs, LLJ #33
PS I don't know if you got my email but I sent your table runner off yesterday!
Hmmmm...I think that when a store calls you to tell you they have something you would really like, it might just mean there is an addiction...maybe? I do love a farmers market...have fun...happy WOYWW #159
ReplyDeleteHi. You had a fun shopping spree there. Your local shop knows you too well!
ReplyDeleteI don't like the new look blogger at all and it is taking me a while to get to grips with it. Although I use Google Chrome for most of my internet browsing, I still use Firefox to write blogs, because blogger seems to behave better in it. I always do all my writing first and then add the photos. I now have to click exactly where I want them to be, and then, once they are uploaded, if I click on them I can choose size and alignment. I use to do that first and I could drag them to where I wanted them, but that isn't the case now. But I have found that if I leave an empty line space where I want the picture to be, click on it, and then go to the 'add photo'icon, this seems to work. I hope you can get it sorted. Kate x
ooh, such a lovely make....and that is some serious stash!! Cant wait to see what you make with it all!

Wonder array of Tim goodies - can you see me turning green - oops must be the t-shirt I am wearing!! BJ#51
ReplyDeleteWonderful look around today. And some new toys. Bloggr, don't get me started. Just becoming comfortable with usig it and they have to "fix somethig that isn't broken". I wated to edit for a spelling error and it did all sorts of silly things. Never did fix my error, finally became so frustrated I gave up. Sorry this is not suppose to be about me, but your fantastic works of art. Hugs. Thanks for your visit. #58
ReplyDeleteYou are running out of desk space on your desk, but who cares because all those new purchases are so awesome! I totally understand why you had to buy them, but especially so much more because you will teach classes with them.
ReplyDeleteYour desk is looking oh so full of lovely goodies!!! I'd love to come and play!! Have you got the new blooger interface
ReplyDelete? Minde suddenly changed but after ages trying to work it out I found the button to turn it back, HATE the new one, what's wrong with the old one!!
Thanks for my snoop! Have a great crafty week. HaPpY WoYwW!
((Lyn)) feeling very old at #102!
I always compose my blog posts in Live Writer (part of the Windows Live package that you can download free) - it's an awful lot easier to use than Beastly Blogger and you've got a lot more control over absolutely everything!
ReplyDeleteI love your work, Vickie, especially what you are doing with metal. This is something I want to get into more as time goes on. What you can achieve with colour and embossing, and alcohol inks etc. is amazing!! Your canvas is beautiful.
Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, and I'm so glad you like my knitting and the zentangle I sent to Spyder.
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #90
