I has been more then a few weeks since I last was able to participate in WOYWW and it has been missed I can tell you. Not that I didn't have great fun on my vacation in Spain but there is nothing like traveling around the world from the comfort of my computer chair! If you would like see what I am talking about you need to visit with the Queen of Snoop, Julia Dunnitt, at Stamping Ground and join in the fun.
I haven't been able to do much crafting/art and wasn't able to do any while I was gone so I have been in the craft room at my workdesk several hours a day since we got home last week. Today I am working on finishing up some tags that are for a swap. The fourth movie of the Twilight series is due to come out on Nov. 18 and this tag is to do with Twilight. I will post more on it later!
I am looking forward to visiting the blogs this week and hope to catch up on who is doing what and visit with friends far away. Hope everyone has a creative week!

ReplyDeleteHi Vickie, glad you enjoyed your holiday in Spain. Your tags are looking good - my granddaughter is into Twilight so this would be her cup of tea. Love the tag you made for Frankie's swap - gorgeous mix of colours. Thanks for commenting on my blog - your husband sounds like a very wise man and I will take heed of what he says so thanks for passing it on. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #59
ReplyDeleteHey Vickie - I can't buy that exact wool over here, but I've just found it on UK Ebay for a very good price. Red Heart make Sashay, which is also ribbon wool and the technique is exactly the same, they have instructions and a video on their website, just Google "Red Heart Sashay". You use chunky needles, mine are European 6.5mm, I think that's a 10 or 10 1/2 in the US. There's no casting on, but you cast off as normal. This is by far the simplest thing I've ever made!
