WOYWW #199

Happy WOYWW!  Whats WOYWW? Click on the link and go find out!  It has been another busy week that has just flown by!  I want to apologize if I didn't make it to your blog last week I promise to do better this week.  Last week so much was going on that I just was swamped!  To see what was going on check out the past weeks posts.

This is my desk this week.  I was cleaning it off getting ready to get down and do some awesome crafting when I got side tracked!  I have been having a lot of concentration and memory issues this past week and I haven't the foggiest...pun intended as to what is going the fogginess.
I am trying to work through a list of things I need to get mailed out and I don't seem to have what it takes to get it completed!  Oh well maybe tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a great week and a Happy Easter!..

  1. Oh I am so glad someone else is having memory issues. I couldn't remember the name for a bone folder or an embossing tool the other day. There was something else but I can't remember now - it was all for some worksheets I am producing. I hate getting older.
Thanks for sharing your desk Vickie.

  11. How worrying to have these memory issues. I reckon part of our troubles comes from the frantic pace of life, which does not allow the brain to catch up and process things properly. It is bad enough when you cannot find the right word, or remember what you were going to do. Our hard drives are full and need a good defragging - that is my excuse and I am sticking to it. The time to really worry is when you find yourself halfway up the stairs and cannot remember whether you are going up or down. Hope the fog clears. have a good week. xx Maggie #17

  13. You sound like me - I am always going down one crafty route then thinking of something else and when I do, I just HAVE to have a go RIGHT AWAY or I fear a "senior moment" that will mean I totally forget my brainstorm LOL!

  14. I have those days sometimes that I just can't get my engine started. So take a break and relax, read and then when you come back to your desk you will be ready. I also think we all put entirely too much pressure on ourselves and this leads to stress and that's no good. Just have a cup of tea and put your feet up!

Come check out my mini album I made last while away at a craft retreat with my girlfriends.

  20. Awesome stash collection - you sure you don't have the bits to get your projects done? Or have you just forgotten where they are? LOL the only good thing about getting more ditzy as I get older is I don't even worry about the bad stuff as much as I forget hat as well!! Hope you are well, Happy Easter Cindy #91

  29. Happy WOYWW. I know how you feel. I have had a rare night in by myself, and had lots of things to get on with - but have ended up going through the Daisy Trail shop and making a list of all the digikits I want. Oh well, tired and blurred eyes now - off to have some chocolate and watch a bit of tv. Ali x #53

  35. Sorry to be late to the party! I'm running a little behind this week! As for not being able to focus, I experience that daily, only with me it's called old age! I just accept it and move on! Happy WOYWW!!

  36. Hi Vickie, I'm taking my time getting around everyone this week - it isn't just my memory that is slowing down, it's just about everything else. And these 'senior moments' are so frustrating - when you can't remember words - simple words at that - and just exactly why you climbed the stairs to do/fetch what???? I now depend on written notes and lists to ensure I don't forget anything :) And you are not alone in being side-tracked - it happens to me all the time. I might be looking for one crafty thing which leads me to another and before I know it I'm working on another completely different project than the one intended. However, it does mean that life is full of surprises :) Hope you have an interesting and enjoyable Easter weekend. Elizabeth x #45
