WOYWW #85

Oh my gosh where has the week gone! I had such a good time with the WOYWW last week hosted by Julia Dunnit at Stamping Ground that I decided that I had to give it a go again this week. Actually I have to confess I think that I am already addicted!

I just finished straightening by desk after doing a couple projects and was putting the Big Shot away when I got an 'itch' to make a 'box' using the matchbox die from Stampin' Up! I have seen several examples on the net recently using the matchboxes to make cards, calenders, and all sorts of fun things so I decided maybe I would try my hand at it. I will have post the finished project later this week on my blog.

Well it is just at 0500 here in Oklahoma, USA and I have spent way too much time in my craft room tonight. I will start looking at the blogs when I get up later. If I started now I would never make it to bed tonight! I am so proud of myself cause I made it to all the blogs last week. It was so much fun scoping out everyone's 'stuff'.

  9. Love the matchbox die, too! Thanks for stopping by my WOYWW last week. In regards to how the metal top wears...I don't know, yet! The kids have left me messages using dry erase markers though and most things seem to wipe/scrape off so far. The only thing I hadn't thought of before is how it will react when I use hot tools (i.e. heat tool, glue gun) on it...hmmm...

In answer to your question about my desk for a long while we didnt know that the little curved bits you can see inside the desk are pen drawers not really secret we just didnt know they existed lol - I think I have been following you around the blog this week ~ Nicky 24

  32. Hi Vickie,
I am so behind with making my rounds this week but in this instance and so glad I am cos I would have missed your Saturday post otherwise.(not any more though as I am now a follower. Te He.) Started reading and saw the words Tim Holtz and went off at a tangent to Joans Garden where I then spotted the challenge for this week. Perfectly up my street as one of this yrs resolutions is to have a butterfly somewhere on each project I complete.
I digress. Love your matchboxes. I have just completed 25 of the wretched (oops I mean darling things)for a christmas themed swap so can now churn em out in my sleep. Yours look stunning. I see you keep the same hours as I do.

p.s. Off to see what must haves/must buys I can spot on Joans blog. Happy crafting.
