Today I want to share a card I made for the Card Chain Challenge at the
Society of Stampaholics blog. The rules are really simple and you only have to make one card to join in the swap. Septembers challenge was:
Creative options. Make a card that uses at least
one of the following three options. You can actually use two or all three, but
you are only required to use
one of them.
Color Palette
OR
Sketch
OR
One of the following themes/products:
Hats and/or felt accents (in honor of
National Felt Hat Day on September 15)
OR
Pirates and/or parrots (in honor of
International Talk Like a Pirate Day on September 19)
OR
Friends
I chose to use 3 options this month, color, sketch and friends. The paper and cardstock are Stampin' Up! Sentiment is also from SU. I used mulberry paper roses and made the leaves and white ferny stuff with Spellbinders dies.
Your card is lovely.I have joined in this swap for the first time this month. My card is on its way to America. Went with the colour scheme too and one of the themes. Had such fun making my card. Maybe we will get to swap one time. Hugs Mrs a.
