WOYWW #138

I know I say this every week but...Where has this week gone! I haven't been especially busy but it has flown past none the less. I am joining WOYWW #138 at Julia's blog...Stamping Ground. What is WOYWW? All I can say is it is a lot of fun and you get to meet a lot of fun people who invite you into their homes to snoop around on their desks. This is what my desk looks like tonight. I am working on some tags for a swap at creativeblock-stampersanonymous a Yahoo group. If you like making tags and using neat stamps you might be interested in joining the group and checking out the on going tag swap. As you can see I have my stamps and inks out and I am trying to decide where to go from here. I have an idea to put a flower/rosette/rose/or bird on the tag...hmmmm...might put all of them on there!

I just finished my Valentines for a swap at my local scrapbook store next month. Aren't they cute! They took almost as much time as making a big tag though! I have to finish a box to receive the Valentines that others are making for me. Any ideas? I thought that I might alter a photo box that has a lid so that I can use it after the Valentines Day party.

Okay I am finishing this off and heading over to Julia's and WOYWW to make the rounds of a few of the other blogs before I head to bed (it is only 12:20am here!) Hope you have a great Wednesday. I have to go grocery shopping, to my local scrapbook store and run several other errands also! Ugh! Busy day.

  5. Don't you just hate it when life gets in the way of what you want to be doing! I have the little fella trained to leave me alone so I can catch up on the people I need to blog to then as time permits I visit other people - chores will need to happen to. Crafting has to wait for the evening and T bedtime. Hope you receive valentines tags with as much love and effort as you have put into yours.

  9. Do you swap the little Valentines with all the other folk at the scrapbook store. I've never heard of them before! Seems like a great idea though. I agree, smaller quite often means more fiddly! I don't do that very often as I'm neither patient nor meticulous :) I know myself too well.... :D

    1. never thought about it...swapping valentines. I thought it was a world wide tradition. School children here in the US make a box at school and they bring valentines to put in everyone's box when they have the 'party' on the 14th Feb or thereabouts.

  17. Hi Vickie,

Look at your super organised stamps! Thats amazing and I take my hat off to you, mine are lined up in a cardboard box - not stylish at all in comparison!

I love your Valentine tags, they look super and I can imagine that they would take almost as much time as a bigger tag as youve got the same amount of processes. They do look well worth the work though!

  20. Love those mini tags Vickie but whenever I see O X O on something it makes me smile. In England 'OXO' is the brand name of a meat flavoured stock cube - lovely for making a hot savoury drink on a cold, wet day - just like today here.

  27. Oh wow, so many Valentines tags Vicki, they must have taken you ages to make. Loving the colour pallet you’ve used.
And those Timmy stamps are fab, aren’t they. I don’t think it matters what you end up putting on the tags, they are going to look just beautiful because your work always does.

    Happy Crafting!
