WOYWW #348

Well today is actually Thursday and not Wednesday and the only excuse I can offer up is that my damn mind just can't grasp a weekly cycle anymore.  I think on Sunday about Wednesday and even think up ideas about what I can share but...never happens...so here I am a day late and a dollar short so to speak.  If you wonder why Wednesday is giving me fits click on over to Stamping Ground and Julia has a little linky thing on the top bar that tells you what WOYWW is!

My desk this week.  Working space available but no drive to do any work...my Mojo has gone walkabout and I am too down to give a care.   This desk is actually about 8' long so there is a lot of space to clutter up and still have 2' to craft in.
One thing I did do is go to Monday night art night at Heathers house and completed three sets of two 12" x 12" scrapbook pages from a kit. I haven't decided what pictures to have printed to put on the pages so as soon as I get them finished I will post the done deal.

Stopped by the local Tuesday Morning store yesterday after my appointment with the therapist and found some really good buys!  Tuesday Morning is a discount store that sells name brand stuff that is discontinued or hasn't been sold in the big markets...a thrift store so to speak.  This stack is packages of 12"x12" sheets of Bazzill double sided card stock that they were selling for next to nothing.  Each pack holds 25 sheets of card stock and it cost me about £1.99 per pack.  The print paper was a little more expensive but not much.  I also picked up some Valentines paper from Michaels to make some cards for friends and family.  I am clueless where my Valentines stuff went!  I really have way too much!
I love to find sales cause my art work doesn't realize it is being made with discontinued card or papers!

How about a Throw Back Thursday since I am so late getting this out...
Hope you have a great week and I will be back next week!

  3. I think it's fine to use discontinued papers most of my designer paper I'm trying to use up is old but sometimes the discontinued stash is my fave happy late WOYWW hugs Nikki 3

  6. I hope you feel better soon and get that mojo back! It seems to go walkabout once in a while. Some great finds. I never thought of going to Tuesday Morning to find crafty finds - I admit I don't go in there very often.

    have a good week

  7. Hi Vickie, when you feel like that it's better to turn your back on the desk and have a rest. I find if I try to craft when I'm not in the mood it just makes me feel worse but it's good of you to visit your Wednesday friends. Pleased you found some good offers that always makes me feel better. Take care and happy woyww, Angela x 24

  8. It sounds like you've been having a tough old time, Vickie....don't push yourself to craft if you don't feel like it, it's counterproductive. I like the new papers etc that you got; after saying I wasn't going to buy anymore fabric, I succumbed. Truth be told, I haven't been making that much, there's been too much else to do. Things might change!
Take care of yourself, sending hugs,

  11. I know that feeling of an absent mojo only too well, Vickie - mine has only just returned after a long period of absence - the second in a year! I also know that awful feeling of not feeling well enough to be interested, even. However, for someone with an absent mojo you certainy have achieved some nice stuff! I'm often late with WOYWW too but it doesn't matter - nice to see you anytime!

Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment, and your kind words about my work. This has been a busy week so far and I've had to rest as a result of getting overtired, but you know all about that!!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  12. Hello Vickie - good to see you posting and thanks for visiting me. Sorry you are not so good - it's a struggle at times I know( also have FM plus other issues- just feel like it's all too hard at times) The card is lovely. I was not going to vet much new SU stuff - but have succumbed. Ah well. Take care. Anne x

  14. I'm sorry to hear you are not so good. Great that you posted anyway even if Mr Mojo was on holiday too.
Making scrapbook pages from a kit is just the ticket in such a situation. Well done you.
The card from Throwback Thursday is beautiful!
    Thanks for your visit,
    Have a better week,

  15. Oh fiddle! I totally forgot to stop at Tuesday Mornings while I was in the city last weekend. Go you on finding good deals! Don't fuss about the lack of mojo. Something will inspire you and you'll be off and running. I have an article in Polymer Cafe this month about finding your mojo. Maybe something in there will help. Creative Blessings! Kelly #43
