WOYWW #189

Welcome to Wednesday!  WOYWW is an awesome group of crafters/artists that gather each Wednesday at Julia's place to surf around the globe snooping in to other crafter's/artists desks to see what's up!  Go to Stamping Ground to get the deets on what to do to join this awesome group!  I would like to apologize to the folks that I didn't make it around to your blog last week and will try and do better this week.  Life happens!

My desk today:
My desk this week...I have been busy making Valentines for a class I will be teaching next month.
A close up of the card on my desk... Just want to take a second to wish a Happy Anniversary to Darnell!  Congratulations and here is to many more!!  With thoughts on Darnell and her mister I got busy making this Valentine card!
Simple!
UPDATE!!   Just read on Darnells blog that she would like to see our wedding pictures so Ardyth has set up a linky thing to do just that!  Here is a picture of me and my Mister on April 5, 1975!

Hope you have a great week.  I am off to find a cup of tea and hope to hop around to a couple desks and see whats up!

  13. A busy and creative desk as ever Vicki and I love your card.

In all the time I’ve been visiting your desk I’ve never really taken very much notice of your round storage with all the little bags of goodies hanging from it. I have to say it’s far better than having things stuffed in boxes and drawers where you can’t see what you’ve got.

    Happy Crafting!

  60. Hi Vickie,

I'm sorry I didn't come by sooner. I took some time off to actually celebrate with Mister, and I'm slowly making my way through the fantastic links over at Ardyth's.

Thank you SO much for your happy wishes to me and the Mister here and on my blog. We've been quite overwhelmed by the outpouring of love! I love your Valentine and since you made it with thoughts of me, I'm going to pin it on the special Pinterest board I've set up for all our lovely cards!

Thank you so much for joining in the fun and linking your sweet wedding photo over at Ardyth's. Don't we all look so impossibly young??? It's been a thrill to see the pictures of love and get to know people better.

Thank you, again! I'm so touched! Darnell #64

  62. Just spotted your second lovely comment, Vickie! Thanks! I think the kitties really like our hubbies' face fungus - we had a little black and white cat who used to put her paws in my hubby's beard! Beatrice and my hubby have always had this thing about each other, though - when we went to choose her and her sister Bella (who tragically got killed on the road before she was 2 years old), Beatrice walked straight across the room towards him and leapt straight into his heart! I have to peel her off him in order to get anywhere near!

I couldn't have afforded a bought wedding dress, either. At the time, the total cost of materials for mine was under £50, and all the embroidery floss was free - a gift from a friend. Much more fun, because the whole thing was my own design and unique. My hubby was totally bowled over!!
