WOYWW, Stampaholics and some thoughts...

I have been following some people that are having blogversaries etc recently and couldn't figure out how they could be so knowledgeable about their blogs so I did some searching around and found out about my blog.   My stats on Okienurse Paper and Ink Therapy are as follows:

Blog started in July 2008
First post was December 2008
I have had 34,925 views of my blog in the 3+ years
I have 211 Followers
I have posted 294 blog posts but that is what actually made it to the blog...there were more!
The biggest percentage of blog views have come from across the pond.  I love you guys!!

It's fun to know stats and what I will do with them only the powers that be know but now I know!

My desk this week doesn't look much different then in previous weeks but I have been busy cleaning up and trying to get more space to work.
There is more available workspace in this picture.  I took this late last week but haven't done anything any different and it mostly looks like this.  See my WOYWW standing up on a stamp pad.  I have a new Spellbinders die laying there by the go round that is the poinsetta die.  I loved it last year and finally broke down and bought it for this year.  Craft Stamper magazine I need to read!
I made a card for a card swap on Deborah's site called Society of Stampaholics and really had a fun time doing it.  The challenge is to make 1 card and mail it to 1 person each month.  Deborah gives you a list of things you can use in the challenge and then you send her a picture and she posts a list of who you need to contact to send your card to.  Okay that said here is my card(s) for this month.  They are going to Deborah so I thought I would make a couple...doesn't hurt to over achieve it is my first time and I am earning brownie points!!  +{;-)

Okay one last thing! Interested in winning a new Cricut cartridge?  Check out Scrap This Save That and see what you have to do to win a new To The Cabin cartridge.

Well that's all I have to say for right now.  I am off to visit other blogs now.  Whats this all about?  WOYWW the society of desk snoops....get the scoop from the Queen of Snoops herself...Julia at Stamping Ground!

  10. Hi Vickie, interesting about the stats and now wondering just exactly how you will use them :) I'm always looking for more space, or should I say, making the best use of the space I have :) You are just going to love that poinsettia die - I have it and it is one of my all-time favourites - not that I have a lot, but I still have my favourites - it looks great cut out of all sorts of card and paper. Your little monthly card exchange sounds fun. I like to have a challenge with others, keeps my juices flowing and I get 'er done!! Have fun creating, hope your weather has improved. We've NO HUMIDITY and NO RAIN, but nice outside.

  13. Hey I love your desk that ribbon collection is awesome and the drawers just super. I don't want to know stats, I'm sort of over it, if it happens it happens, I am lay back like that, must be the aussie in me LOL. I post when it is wednesday even though it is one of my really busy days doing volunteer electrical work but I still get there.

I do like your card and what a fantastic group, might look into that at some stage. A great way to get to know people and participate in a challenge too.

  23. I enjoy looking at the blog stats too, most of my traffic is also from the UK but that's no big surprise as that's where I'm from also! I think I naturally gravitate towards British blog without even realising it. Love the plan for your new room, I'm excited to see how that comes together for you. Pootling is just messing about with no real aim, we were pootling about the lake, I've pootled in my garden before and I do a lot of pootling in my craft room too!!

  36. I like how you have SOOOOO much stuff all around your desk, to me that is the ultimate, having it all right there. You don't care much for ribbon do you? ;-) I admit that the wider ribbons didn't used to interest me, but now I see their redeeming qualities. Good luck with the tidying to get more space quest. It is a noble one that I have undertaken before in my life.

So we shall see what we see over the weekend. Have a great week.

  57. Love your colourful desk, Vickie, and all the gorgeous ribbons hanging above! So pretty, and it looks so industrious! The card you made is gorgeous too - what fabby colours.

Thanks for your lovely comment and good wishes about my parents. Dad is in hospital now - best place for him, but it was so sad to see him looking so small and frail in his bed, with drips and everything attached. His speech was quite slurred. Mum is vulnerable and needs a lot of attention atm of course. My hubby is being just tremendous - a real rock.
