WOYWW #147

This has been an absolutely busy week for me and I have no pictures to show of my desk because it is covered with the design team work and I can't show it until it shows on the team sites. I will give you a sneaky peek of one of the projects that is almost completed.
Oh my what could this be? Don't you hate teases?

I have been having so much fun trying out the new product and creating fun things to share that the week has passed by quickly. I am sorry if I didn't make it around to your desk last week and I promise to try and do better this week. Wondering what all this desk business is about? Go to Stamping Ground and Ms Julia the original desk snoop Queen will show you the ropes.

A cute add on picture to share this morning. Create with Joy has Wordless Wednesday and I took this picture of my fur baby vying for attention with the WOYWW blog hop and she jumped up on the desk in front of the screen and started scratching at it with her paw then turned around to look at me as if to say, 'come one Momma I have read that part!' Stormy is my vocal baby and 'talks' all the time...what's scary is that I can understand her most times!

Have a great week and hopefully I will have more to share next week.

  3. Forget the desk Vickie, it's far better to look at a beautiful feline friend. Gorgeous cat. Have two myself - my fur babies (they are daughters, while the 2 dogs are my 'sons' lol).... yep, mad!

The DT stuff is intriguing. If I get my act together, I will come over and see the reveal.

  9. Hi Vickie,

Thanks for your kind words. I can just imagine you know exactly what Stormy is saying - Daisy had that same way. She'd sometimes sit between me and the t.v. with her back facing me and then she'd turn her head around and look at me and give me a look -- let's go play!

    Hugs,

  10. Yes! you are a tease but it all adds to the fun!
love Stormy, such a gorgeous cat.
We homed two cats and the female ginger never even purred or miaowed until the tabby sadly died and then she suddenly gained a personality and a voice. She would ask us for things and I knew what she wanted. She even tapped my arm to tell me to get things for her. Both lived past 20 and I miss them so.
Jo x still drooling over my grand prize!

  13. It's always fun making things you can tell, but can't show... But the colour combination looks wonderful to me. And yes... my cats have their own idea about WOYWW. They think they've got too less attention, because I'm desk hopping most of the day :-) Thanks for sharing and good luck with your 'secret' project. xFranka

  17. Ohmigawd! I used to have a vocal kitty and that cat just NEVER shut up. So I named her after one of my little brother's female friends. That girl never shut up either. So on the teaser photo I see torn fabric flowers and a loaf of bread. Am I close!??!?!!!

  21. What a beautiful cat Stormy is and I know what you mean about talking and understanding.
I think I know what your sneaky peek is - a loaf of bread with those lovely fabric roses and some knitting. Am I right? No, of course not, silly me.
Thanks for sharing and look forward to the reveal.

  23. I am dying to see what you did with the stash you had on your desk last week...cute cat, wish I had one too. I have a dog that talks and only I "get" what she wants...she doesn't bother with the rest of the family...

  24. Your kitty is a cutie. My family has always conversed at great length with pets and assumed that all parties understood every word. :) Happy Thursday from #151.

  25. Most intriguing project, Vickie, and even the snippit you have shown us is beautiful! As for your kitty, he is so beautiful, and of course you understand every word he says! - as he does you! Live with one for any length of time and you're soon communicating! One of ours is very chatty and always has a lot to say for herself, and always demands centre stage!

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. You understand better than most what it's like to be affected for a disproportionate length of time for the small misdemeanour of overdoing it slightly! I keep thinking I've got this pacing lark licked, and then blow it again. I'm still feeling pretty rough, and just glad I've got my knitting and zentangles to keep me occupied while I can't sit for long in my ARTHaven. I did manage to put another coat of gesso on my Choc-a-Blog mixed media project this p.m., though!

Glad you like my knitting. It's coming on apace now.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  31. Yes I understand the cat's need for ourselves to devote all our time to them and just them. I have my dads cat visiting as well as 2 of my own, so I understand your problem but you have to love them.

    Thanks for sharing your space
    Happy crafting

  32. It will be fun once you are able to show all those art projects. Good luck with that. My guy knows better than to get near my computer, or land in my craft room, either. The only place he's allowed is the basement studio. I'm a meany, but then, I'm not his "mom" either! Hope you had a great WOYWW. I ended up being number 2.

  33. Very curious about your top secret crafty bits...will be popping back later to see them! Love your kitty cat, what a cutie x
