WOYWW #203

Better late then never is my new mantra!  I seem to have lost track of time this week and Wednesday came creeping up on me.  Not been a good week health wise but here is hoping with the advent of the warmer weather the pain and "get along" issues will be resolved!

Okay why we are here!  My desk...my desk you ask... go visit with Julia at Stamping Ground and she will fill you in on what the big deal is about desks!
A wider view again showing the two clip-its that I am using.  It is a good way to have bling and embellishment at hand and readily accessible.
Larger clip-it holds the longer ribbon/bling .  I have several of these button box holders that sit on top of the black drawers.  I love these things from IKEA.  This is actually two drawer cabinets that are part of the ALEX line that I stacked one upon the other.
Latest art journal page!  Cinco de Mayo is celebrated here in the southwest/south central states.  Cinco de Mayo is not only a Mexican holiday but a holiday in the USA celebrating a early Civil War battle and the battle of Puebla where the US and Mexico joined together to rout France..last battle the French fought in the Americas!
Brick wall texturing and a large Margarita set the stage for the bright colors and banner of the page.  I love Dylusions ink and how bright they are.  Margarita glass is acrylic paint.
Want to see a couple tags I made recently?  I love the Tim Holtz style and enjoyed making these tags.

Every one knows how I love purple...

Okay that is it for me!  Hope you can manage to make it around to my page this week.  I will try to be a little better next week and get here a little earlier in the day!  Have a great week!
Is anyone interested in swapping ATC with me this year?  Let me know.  I am going to start creating them soon...meant to get started sooner but...

  18. Hi Vickie,

Your craft space is an oasis of happiness! Oh, but I know what you mean with the getalong issues -- I'm having them right now too. Overall pain really is tough to deal with.

Love the tags by the way. And yes, I'd love to swap ATCs with you... especially since I never did the mousetrap thing - oh but I do have the mousetraps somewhere, probably with my thumb drive!

    Thanks for visiting me already.
    Happy WOYWW

  20. I clicked on the link to your page and when the photo came up I said "WOW" out loud! You got a lot going on there, but it looks like you have a good system going. I'll have to steal a few of your organizing ideas that I see. Your tags are lovely. Thanks for sharing!

  21. Great pictures Vickie. Sorry to hear it hasn't been a good week; hopefully that will improve - SOON. I love your tags, especially the purple sewing theme. I am constantly surprised by how the same materials can take on a new look with a new artist. Also really, really, really, coveting those ribbons. It's not a good thing. But at least I admit it!
