WOYWW #117

WoW! Wednesday again! I know that sounds old and trite but...I don't know where this week has gone. I went to Tulsa, OK with my sister for a wedding shower for my nephew and ended up staying all night and I have yet to get into my schedule again! Curious what WOYWW and Wednesdays are all about? Click on the link to Miss Julia's blog, Stamping Ground and she will tell you all about it!

My desk is cluttered as I am working on a card for the Christmas Card Club that I was invited to join.

I have fallen behind and I am now trying to catch up but...looks like I will be leaving for Virginia early Thursday to help my son and daughter-in-law when their second child comes. My husband and I are planning on driving out so it may not be possible for me to visit very many blogs but I promise to try!

I will post a picture of the finished card later. Have a great week!

  5. You are going to have a busy few weeks and exciting ones too!! Let's hope that the trip to Spain includes lots of lying around in the sun with no rushing about, as you're probably going to be doing a lot of that very soon! Hugs, LLJ x

  7. Hi Vickie, your desk is as interesting as usual. I sneaked a peek at the finished card and it is lovely - great colours, love that shade of green, and the image of the mailbox is cute - we don't have them here in Scotland, just letterboxes in our doors. Have a great time with your grandchild and hope all goes well for your daughter. Elizabeth x #51

  8. Wow! How many ink pads does one girl need? my OH just asked. All of them was my answer. And lots of Copics too. I am building mine up slowly.
    Enjoy your travels.

  10. Just saw the card in the next post, as well as an update on your DIL. I think we're going to have to call you traveling nurse before long! Sounds like you have a full itinerary.

Your electric bill is INSANE. I'm in the same heat cycle (today was 50 days of 100 or hotter temps, which tied our all time record) and my monthly electric bill is about 1/2 what yours is for a WEEK. I'm glad I don't have to pay your bill, dear friend.

  12. Your desk looks pretty organized to me! I noticed that you have the drawer-set on your desk. I have that unit and a couple others but stack them from the floor. I love the idea of having them on the desk!
I wish you all the best in your upcoming busy weeks! Exciting times with a baby on the way and then a trip to Spain!

  17. Sorry I'm so late, I'm blaming my spell checker this week, because without it I'm sooo 'dead in the water!' Why does your desk look so different this week? Maybe it's the light, I just love all your stuff, pack in there so tightly! My shelves move so I have to watch that everything doesn't suddenly come tumbling down!!! Happy Late WOYWW!!
