Ever wonder what you are going to do with all those card blanks that you bought so cheap last year...or was that the year before? Any way here is an example of what I did with a craft one and some Christmas papers by...I can't remember!!!
Any whooo...all I did was fold the card differently from what it was packaged and made an easy peasy gate fold card. Don't fold the card on the crease but fold the card outside edges to the center to make it have two sides opening or as someone told me a gate fold card looks like a barn gate opening.... I think it turned out okay for a first!

WOYWW and Chris's challenge on the Christmas Card Club
Thought I would share a couple cards with the WOYWW this week for the Christmas Club Challenges. The fortnight before last Chris challenged us to do whatever we wanted to so I made a card using Stampin' Up! products. I love the classic colors and Christmas trees and I used the products from last year that are not available this year! I have decided I have to start using the stash that I have accumulating in the studio!
This fortnight Claire wanted some embossing with blue and silver and hopefully I can sneak this card in and make it count for the challenge. I love this little snowman globe and used a little silver glitter before covering the whole globe with glossy accents.
Thought I would share a couple more pictures this week from Mallorca. Love the food and the way it is displayed ie:
ensaimadas:
cafe con leche...coffee with milk:
My husband, Chuck, in front of the pastry shop in Palma
Anyway thats it for today. I still have about 10 days here in Spain and will try to post again when I have internet access. If you would like to check at WOYWW or the Christmas Card Club click on the links on the side bar and any of us will share with you what it is all about. Have a great week!

Yippee!
I think I have started to figure out the blog issues I am having. I thought I would try and post a couple photos of the Christmas cards I made and see if I am as smart as I am hoping I am.

One of the first cards I made this year I used Martha Stewart products. I was impressed with the clear stamps she put out this season and the paper pack to match. Really cool! I really liked the patterned paper, stamps, and punches that coordinated.

The next card is also made using primarily Martha Stewart products but I addede a stamp from the Deer Friends hostess set from Stampin Up! I embellished it with some stuff I had on hand. I love punches and I used the Stampin Up! scallop circle and the edge of the card front is the gingerbread man from Martha Stewart.

Thanks to Dawn for the idea and tutorial for the next card. It was super simple and went together really fast.

One more before I close this post. This card is done with Stampin Up! cardstock and stamp set. I love this new set and used it on all sorts of projects this year.
