WOYWW and Chris's challenge on the Christmas Card Club
Thought I would share a couple cards with the WOYWW this week for the Christmas Club Challenges. The fortnight before last Chris challenged us to do whatever we wanted to so I made a card using Stampin' Up! products. I love the classic colors and Christmas trees and I used the products from last year that are not available this year! I have decided I have to start using the stash that I have accumulating in the studio!
This fortnight Claire wanted some embossing with blue and silver and hopefully I can sneak this card in and make it count for the challenge. I love this little snowman globe and used a little silver glitter before covering the whole globe with glossy accents.
Thought I would share a couple more pictures this week from Mallorca. Love the food and the way it is displayed ie:
ensaimadas:
cafe con leche...coffee with milk:
My husband, Chuck, in front of the pastry shop in Palma
Anyway thats it for today. I still have about 10 days here in Spain and will try to post again when I have internet access. If you would like to check at WOYWW or the Christmas Card Club click on the links on the side bar and any of us will share with you what it is all about. Have a great week!
Two gorgeous cards Vickie and all those cakes look delicious. Carol x

ReplyDeletePosting on holiday? Now that is dedication. Cafe con leche and a bit of sunshine would go a long way to making me feel fantastic! I particularly like the snowman in a globe

Lovely cards, Vickie - particularly like the colours of the first with the tree. Sounds like you are having a great holiday and the coffee looks delicious. Meant to mention before, I think your blog background is very atmospheric - love it. Elizabeth x #53
ReplyDeleteI hope the tapas in Mallorca are as good as the ones we had in mainland Spain at Soria - they were to die for.
ReplyDeleteThat Christmas card is really lovely - you are so talented to achieve that perfection.
Love those cards Vickie, especially the SU one as I really love traditional colours and greenery too. I'm also a huge fan of glossy accents too, put it on everything! Gosh those pastries take me back! You're really making me miss Europe!
